Hello everyone, I am AJiang. Today I want to share with you a problem that 90% of Windows computer users will encounter, which is how to clean up the C drive. It's fun to install software, but when the C drive is full and you don't know how to solve it, you can only clean up a little bit from the recycle bin or cache. If you are still using this method to solve the problem of the C drive being almost full, then you will continue to be troubled by the red C drive.
Before cleaning, AJiang's C drive only had 700M, and there were often software crashes when using the computer. After cleaning, there is still 45.1G available.
As the saying goes, if you want to solve the problem, you need to find out which files are taking up space in the C drive.
Regular cleaning tools#
Using software like 360 can give us a clear understanding of which junk files are taking up space on our C drive. We can select according to our own preferences and clean up the main culprits of our C drive being full!
Of course, there are many other software for cleaning files, not just 360. AJiang also recommends a software called dism++, which is super easy to use and can clean more thoroughly.
Advanced cleaning tools#
Next, I recommend three tools that can show you the size of your C drive folders. AJiang's favorite is the second one. With these tools, you can directly delete those large files in the C drive that you don't like.

Here AJiang strongly recommends looking for software to uninstall in C:\Program Files or C:\Program Files (x86). Most of these software are installed by users themselves, or some "rogue software" automatically installs them in the C drive. If we don't use them, we can just uninstall them.
For example, this Little Red Book live assistant by AJiang, I haven't used it a few times, so I just delete it.
Of course, if you don't have much experience, it's better not to use these advanced cleaning tools casually.
