Life#
I can't stand not exercising for too long. When I was at my thinnest in 2024, I was under 120 pounds, and now I'm almost 140 pounds. It all comes down to the fact that I've been eating and drinking during the Spring Festival, and even sitting at the children's table, I couldn't avoid drinking. I thought I was going to leave, but relatives called me over, saying come on, let's drink a bit. Plus, it was too cold in winter, so I rarely exercised. Therefore, I decided to ride my bike during the Lantern Festival and saw some beautiful fireworks. Unfortunately, they only set them off once and didn't do it again. I waited by the roadside for a long time, hoping they would set off a couple more, but they didn't. I rode a bit more, and as the streetlights got dimmer, it felt dangerous, so I turned back. It was still a bit cold when I returned, and I rode just over 10 kilometers.
It was very dark at that time. While riding, suddenly there was a huge firework ahead, the kind that is enormous. As I continued, I saw some scattered fireworks in a distant village, looking small because they were far away. I thought this is the principle of near big and far small. I also imagined if a firework illuminated a tree, the branches of that tree would stretch out like fireworks. Is this the appearance of fireworks or the appearance of the tree? I thought for a moment, and I believe this is the appearance of life. Not to mention the tree is life; even the person setting off the fireworks is life. The Earth is full of life, and watching fireworks is also life, vibrant and renewing. The Spring Festival and Lantern Festival have passed like this.
Health#
I rode 30 kilometers over the weekend, and mountain bikes are really trash! If only my previous bike could ride 120 kilometers, but it's also my fault for not exercising for too long. I originally planned to ride 80 kilometers directly to the Temple of Earth.
Work#
As soon as it's time to get off work, I automatically ignore work-related matters; it's really great! 😁
I'm starting to gradually understand why leaders come up with a plan on a whim. Because a superior assigns a task to the leader, the leader faces a problem, but he doesn't deal with the details, so he doesn't know the real situation. However, when faced with this complex problem, he racks his brain to solve it and finally comes up with a plan he thinks is reasonable, but it may not be reasonable. Still, it can solve a task assigned by his superior, so he arranges for the people below to do it. But he doesn't know how much pain the people below have gone through; as long as they report back, that's enough. The task is completed, and if the leader wants to report on the process, he can; if he doesn't want to report, it's hard to say. Therefore, it is essential to repeatedly tell the leader how difficult it is. If the progress is too smooth, it doesn't reflect one's workload at all.
When there is too much work, I often feel confused. When communicating with colleagues about work, there are places where I don't think things through. Another issue is that I am more of a practical person and don't report back, so sometimes I just take one step at a time. I don't want to plan too early because many things are hard to plan well; things are always changing.
Technology and Software#
Recently, deepseek has become very popular, and I've been thinking about or seeing a few questions about AI:
- If we use AI too much, will humans become stupid?
You can refer to how using computers too much can lead to forgetting how to write. - Will the emergence of AI apps reduce the number of apps?
With everything being AI, AI can directly read data. If we want to buy a plane ticket, AI only needs to read data from various websites and can even arrange travel plans for you. The more prosperous the place, the better the strategy made, but places where the internet hasn't reached still need local guides.
Movies, TV Shows, and Books#
The Old Man and the Sea#
Not a big fan. The part I love most is when the fish's bones are seen by others; it has a sense of heroic grandeur. That fish bone must have many stories. As for the struggle with sharks or fishing, I don't particularly like it. I feel it's a bit of a glorification of suffering; whose life isn't difficult? You catch a fish, and it becomes a world classic; I can't accept that, hahaha.
The Zombie Contract#
It's quite good, but it's too long, which makes it a bit tiring to watch. This genre really is one of a kind; back in the day, it was definitely a bombshell, but unfortunately, I watched it relatively late, and I've seen quite a few of this genre.
Confessions of a Bad Woman#
Highly recommended! Five-star recommendation! The author is Ye Zhongzhenxian. This is the second work of Ye Zhongzhenxian that I've seen; the first was "Scream." Both are novels from a female perspective, telling the various difficulties women face in society. I had read relatively few novels from this female perspective before, and this book's depiction of those difficulties is very relatable, making you believe in the things described. The stories are vividly portrayed. Therefore, I always thought the author was a woman, but I was surprised to find out the author is male. It's even more impressive that a man can write from this perspective. It feels like a role reversal in a drama. Many times, the protagonists in the readings are male, which often leads to a lack of perspective.
Games#
Star of the Dream#
On a friend's recommendation, I played the QQ farm in Star of the Dream, and it feels very healing. Every day I log in to harvest crops and raise animals. There's no level, no PK; this should be the pinnacle of this type of nurturing game. Although it feels very much like a single-player game, it's really relaxing and not tiring at all.
