Health#
It seems that after not climbing snowy mountains, my motivation for exercise has dropped sharply.
On Saturday, I finally chose to stop slacking off and prepared to cycle 140 kilometers to see the Fairy Waterfall. Unexpectedly, when I reached 40 kilometers, my knee hurt immensely, and I could hardly lift it. I had to walk and push my bike all the way back. When I finally got home, I found that my clothes were completely soaked, and I didn't feel cold at all. I've heard that people with hypothermia don't feel cold, and I suspect I was close to hypothermia at that time. It was quite a thrilling ride.
Work#
I really don't want to work anymore; every day is so busy, and I can't finish my tasks. My mindset is exploding. Where is the time to improve myself? It's infuriating!
Technology and Software#
Writing a diary is not as good as doing a daily review. A diary might be easier, but a review could be a bit more comprehensive. Of course, it might also be because I haven't been writing a diary. Watching "The Rise of the Phoenixes," Nie Jiuluo writes in his diary every day while folding stars, which feels so ceremonial! The review plan is starting! A diary requires subjective awareness to record, but a review can be set as tasks in TickTick, so I plan to do a review on TickTick every day, looking at my records bit by bit.
Movies, TV Shows, and Books#
"The Great Decree" started to go downhill from episode 23, and Yunzhou was directly cut out. They wanted to make a fun show but had too many setups, and the excitement points are much fewer compared to the book.
I highly recommend "The Rise of the Phoenixes"! The Douban rankings are indeed well-deserved. "The Rise of the Phoenixes" is the best book I've read in 2025, and I read it using WeChat Reading. The story unfolds from a small dog's tooth (not the snack kind), leading to a development I had never imagined. Although my description may not do it justice, entering the author's perspective creates a feeling of "Am I a descendant of heroes or a descendant of sinners?"
