Work#
I’m afraid of confronting others and too lazy to engage in internal strife. If you say the moon 🌙 is square, I’ll accept it; can we not create trouble for no reason?
I was really annoyed on the second day of the new year because it was a workday, hahaha. You see, I get moody because of work; sometimes it’s really overwhelming.
The experience of working four days and resting three is really good! Today is Friday, and after working one day, I can rest for two days—how nice! Although it was a bit hard to get back to work on the first day of the new year, I can escape to the weekend soon! I want to go biking this weekend, haha. Biking can reduce my time on Douyin and is a way to stay away from short videos.
Health#
I originally planned to bike 60 kilometers to Tianxian Waterfall this weekend, which is said to be the largest ice waterfall in the north.
However, I ended up eating too much hot pot at a colleague's house on Friday night, which made me too full and caused me to skip Saturday. When Sunday came, I found that the wind was too strong; it was impossible to ride in such strong wind, so I gave up. In fact, this biking trip has been in my plans for a long time, at least three weeks. I always have excuses to abandon biking.
Movies and Books#
"The Great Feng's Night Watchman" is still very well made, giving off a short drama vibe. I’m looking forward to Xu Qi'an's A Promise Worth a Thousand Gold, but the plot has become a bit too silly now, and I’m a bit worried that the effect of A Promise Worth a Thousand Gold won't be very good.
"Xiao Qi Qing Rang" by Tailu is a book I highly recommend! It's super good, the author's writing is excellent, the story is logically strong, with no obvious bugs, and good coherence; the whole story is moving. I'm still wondering how it relates to Kuafu and Nuwa; I guess the author will fill in the gaps at the end!
I heard that "Xiao Qi Qing Rang" will also be adapted into a TV series this year! I'm excited; I estimate that once the TV series is out, good things will happen (good persimmon peanuts 🥜) and the Burn After Reading APP will thrive, hahaha.
